New Maintenance Manual 1.8 Available for Download

Please go to our “Downloads” page for Version 1.8 of the Lindstrand Balloons USA Manual for Continued Airworthiness, along with Appendices A, B & C.  This manual has been completely revised and is dated December 1, 2011.  This new format was designed to make the manual more user friendly by relocating all diagrams and photos into a separate appendix (C); this will also make the formatting and uploading of future revisions easier.

Aerostar / Lindstrand joint Maintenance Seminar

Last week more than twenty repair station personnel from across the country (and UK) attended the joint Aerostar/Lindstrand Maintenance Seminar held at the Lindstrand factory in Galena, IL.  Classroom reviews, several hands-on sessions and even a couple of test inflations were all completed successfully.  Each participant had to complete both paper and practical tests before they were issued a certificate of completion by Martin Harms from Aerostar and Phil Thompson from Lindstrand Balloons.
